Because you’re the type of person who does their research and makes informed decisions.
Introduction to Coaching
This coaching is for high-achieving leaders, entrepreneurs, and global citizens who are ready for the next level. You’ve done the work, now it’s time to align who you truly are with what you do. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just needing to realign your focus, you’re in the right place.
Therapy typically focuses on the question “How did I get here?” It dives deep into past experiences, emotions, and patterns to uncover the root causes of current challenges. A therapist’s job is to explore these areas and help you understand them better.
Coaching, on the other hand, is forward-focused. I’ll ask “Where are you headed?” The focus is on what you want to achieve, when you want to achieve it, and how we can make it happen. My role is to support you in breaking through barriers and taking actionable steps toward your goals. I won’t just help you understand what’s holding you back, I’ll work with you to move beyond it.
As an experienced counsellor and accredited coach, I bring my therapeutic background to my coaching work—but I no longer practice traditional therapy. In our work together, we’ll focus on growth, clarity, and building the future you desire.
While therapy is about healing and understanding the past, coaching is about creating the path forward and making bold strides toward your potential.
Yes, I am. But to be clear, the real question should be: What truly qualifies me to coach?
It’s not just about the qualifications—though I’ve earned them, including an MBA, a Masters in Counselling, Postgraduate qualifications in Systemic Therapy and Positive Psychology, and certifications as a Daring Way™ Facilitator, EQ Coach, Values Coach, and MBTI® Practitioner. What truly qualifies me to coach is my practical experience.
As an expat who has lived and worked across 8 countries, I’ve built businesses, navigated different cultures, and taken on leadership roles within global organisations. I’ve worked with entrepreneurs, C-suite executives, family offices, and global teams, helping them manage complex challenges and make high-stakes decisions across borders.
I understand the intricacies of leading in a global context—balancing diverse expectations, navigating cross-cultural dynamics, and driving impact on a global scale. That’s the difference. My experience isn’t theoretical; it’s built from years of real-world, high-level leadership across different industries and cultures. And that’s what I bring to the table in our coaching relationship
The Coaching Experience
My role is simple: I’m here to draw out your innate strengths and make sure you step up to do the work. There’s no magic pill. I won’t do the work for you, but I will challenge you, ask the tough questions, and help you find clarity.
I believe in your ability to succeed, which is why I agree to work with you in the first place. I’ll help you cut through the noise, take bold action, and unlock the potential you already have within you. If you’re ready to do the work, I’m here to make sure you get there.
This is your journey. I am there as a guide to support you along your journey. You have full control over your actions as you are in the driver’s seat of your life. You determine the destination, the direction and the speed of your journey. Meaning you determine the agenda for our work together in your role as client. You assume full responsibility for your decisions and commit to taking action between sessions. You understand that ultimately your success is up to you and the actions you take.
These are some of the foundational guidelines from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) that may provide some insight into what you might expect along your journey to becoming you whilst you are working with me and beyond.
- Focus on one’s self, the tough questions, the hard truths and one’s success.
- Observe the behaviours and communications of others.
- Listen to one’s intuition, assumptions, judgements, and to the way one sounds when one speaks.
- Challenge existing attitudes, beliefs and behaviours and develop new ones that serve one’s goals in a superior way.
- Leverage personal strengths and overcome limitations to develop a winning style.
- Take decisive actions, however uncomfortable and in spite of personal insecurities, to reach for the extraordinary.
- Show compassion for one’s self while learning new behaviours and experiencing setbacks, and to show that compassion for others as they do the same.
- Commit to not take one’s self so seriously, using humour to lighten and brighten and situation.
- Maintain composure in the face of disappointment and unmet expectations, avoiding emotional reactivity.
- Have the courage to reach for more than before while engagine in continual self examination without fear.
It is not possible to be precise on how long is needed as it depends on numerous factors including where you are at now, your individual self-motivation, your past experience or work on your self and most importantly, how much effort you put into the work between sessions.
Saying this, in my experience working with me for a 3 month period provides the majority of my clients with significant results. Of course this depends on where you are starting, the effort you put in and what you define as significant results. We will discuss this in our initial intake session and continue to check in as we go along.
The coaching process is collaborative and I will be able to give you a clearer picture once we get into the work.
If you are engaging in a 1:1 coaching package for 3 or 6 months, the initial intake session will be approximately 2 hours. Thereafter, each coaching session is 60 to 75 minutes.
I commit to working with a limited number of clients in an ongoing capacity so that I can ensure I am fully present for those who do choose to work with me. We will discuss the frequency and duration of your sessions during our first meeting together.
In simple terms, you won’t find any psycho-babble or “therapy-speak” with me.
Our sessions will be filled with straight talk, candid conversations and honest connection. I will show up for you—and empower you to show up for yourself—and do what it takes to help you experience positive change and lasting results.
Most coaches also lack the clinical background required to understand the underlying causes of roadblocks in your life. Unless you can resolve these, you will continue returning to old habits. As well as being a certified coach, I have 8+ years of education including a Masters of Business Administration, Masters in Counselling and a Post Graduate in Positive Psychology and Systemic Therapy.
While the coaching world can often be cookie-cutter, my unique skills and experience ensures working with me will be anything but.
I am committed to walking the talk as a coach, a leader, a mentor, a guide. Change is uncomfortable and life is unpredictable, having a trusted confidante to walk alongside you can make all the difference.
I specialise in working with high-performing individuals to help them make serious shifts in both their personal and professional lives.
If you are looking for a ‘talk therapist’ then I’m not for you. If you are looking for a ‘cookie-cutter’ coach with a fixed program, then I’m not for you. If you are not prepared to put in the work between sessions and lean into the uncomfortable, then I’m not for you.
If you are looking for an ethical practitioner, who offers a bespoke service to meet the needs of the individual, then I may be the right fit for you. Somebody who will support you in creating a safe space to lean into the work of becoming you. A coach who has the experience and qualifications who has been where you are.
If after doing your research you are still unsure about whether or not I’m the right fit for you, schedule a free discovery call with me today and let’s connect.
Whilst I am a highly credentialed therapist, I no longer do traditional therapy. Although I still have some pre-existing clients who I continue to support in my capacity as a therapist – I am no longer taking on new therapy clients.
Saying this, my clinical background as a counsellor informs my coaching work. This means that I am able to quickly address or identify deeper psychological blockages that may be hindering your progress in a coaching capacity, so that we ensure that the foundation is strong for you to keep moving forward.
If in my professional capacity, I feel that it would be in your best interests to have clinical intervention to treat underlying issues such as trauma, personality disorders or extreme anxiety, I will refer you to work with a mental health practitioner for treatment.
In these cases we may need to pause or adjust our coaching arrangements. Note that some of my clients do work with a therapist alongside working with me as their coach, which I am happy to collaborate with and support.
My focus is on the best interests of my clients to achieve their goals of living wholeheartedly, authentically and with purpose and impact.
No I am not a psychologist. I am a Masters qualified counsellor. The difference between a psychologist and a counsellor is that whilst a psychologist can diagnose mental conditions, counsellors do not. In counselling, the focus is on exploring and processing the events and influences from the past, and how those experiences may be shaping your behaviour in the present. This can include exploring limiting beliefs and scripts, along with looking at the issues through a systemic lens to understand what may be hindering movement.
Coaching Benefits
If the desire is there, now is the time—but you have to make space for this work. If you’re questioning your capacity to commit, consider whether your excuses are limiting beliefs or imposter syndrome trying to get in the way of your transformation. You have to lean into the fear. If you are willing to learn, grow, adapt and be challenged, then you are ready for coaching.
Remember, in the words of Anaïs Nin, “Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage”. Don’t let fear hold you back from the success you deserve.
As a coach with a therapeutic background, you can work with me on a wide range of areas related to personal growth and development. Ultimately, my focus is supporting you to become you. To connect to who you are at your core so you can live a life of impact true to your passions and strengths.
Topics might include:
- Setting and achieving goals: Helping you identify and set goals that are realistic, measurable, and achievable. Then taking it from talk to reality by assisting you in developing an action plan to reach your goals.
- Managing stress and anxiety: If you are struggling with stress and anxiety, I can help you develop strategies to manage your symptoms and improve your overall well-being.
- Improving relationships: Whether you are trying to improve your relationships with family members, friends, or coworkers, I can provide guidance on how to communicate effectively and resolve conflicts.
- Building self-esteem: As a coach with a therapeutical background as a counsellor, I can help you identify the underlying causes of low self-esteem and provide strategies to build your self-confidence.
- Overcoming obstacles: If you are facing obstacles in your personal or professional life, I can help you develop strategies to overcome them and move forward.
- Enhancing personal growth: I will help you explore your values, beliefs, and passions, and develop a plan to achieve your full potential.
As a coach with a solid therapeutical background as a counsellor, I can provide a holistic approach to personal growth and development, helping you to not just survive but thrive if your life.
Confidentiality and Payment
Regardless of the location of my client, as a certified member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and a Clinical Member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), I am bound to maintain at least the standards of the ACA and PACFA codes of conduct. This includes strict guidelines on maintaining confidentiality, with a few exceptions required by law. In Coaching, if I have been engaged by an organisation to coach an employee, I would ensure that an agreement was in place between the client and myself that covers topics around disclosure. professional lives. If you are unsure about whether or not I’m the right fit for you, schedule a free discovery call with me today.
I charge in USD because it’s the global standard for my business. My work is international, with clients across different countries and currencies, and USD provides a common language that makes transactions smoother for everyone. It simplifies the process, regardless of where you are in the world.
The value I bring to the table isn’t about offering cheap sessions or quick fixes. My packages are designed for those who are serious about making lasting change. You’re investing in long-term growth, not short-term convenience.
I don’t work with clients who just want to dip their toes in; I work with clients who are ready to fully commit to their transformation. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach, and that’s why you won’t find “quick fixes” here. If you’re ready for real change and willing to put in the work, then my coaching is the right fit for you.
Yes, payment plans are available. I believe in making this investment accessible, so I offer flexible payment options to suit your needs. Let’s discuss what works best for you during our initial conversation, and we’ll find a solution that aligns with your goals and financial situation.
Scheduling and Cancellations
Think of this as a an opportunity for us to get to know each other to see if we are a good fit.
During this session I will be asking questions of you as a potential client to gain an understanding of where you are at and where you would like to get to. I will also be starting to get a feel for your innate strengths and potential blockages. Ultimately, my goal is to see if you are ready to start coaching as I only work with determined individuals who are prepared to do the work needed to make the shifts required to get the desired results. I also want my clients to feel comfortable with my style as I know I’m not for everyone.
As the potential client I hope that you will use the Discovery Session to determine if you’re comfortable with my personality and way of approaching issues. Please ask your questions because ultimately this is your journey and you get to decide what is best for you.
The time that we spend in a formal session will be focused on moving your dreams, goals, objectives to reality by creating actionable steps. Following each session, you will gain clarity on these steps so that you can have a plan to move forward proactively on your journey to becoming you.
Of course it is totally up to you as to how much time you spend on doing “the work” but in my experience, the more effort you put into it – the more you will get out of it. Saying this, if you don’t put in any effort between sessions – the progress will be limited.
I only work with high-achieving individuals who are prepared to put in the effort required to make the progress they desire. I can’t do the work for you but I will commit to showing up for you in supporting you to be accountable to your self in the process of becoming you. Step one is to believe that you are worth the effort.
We understand that sometimes unexpected situations can arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment and we will do our best to accommodate these changes. Typically sessions are scheduled monthly in advance for regular coaching clients. With advance notice, we will endeavour to accommodate your individual needs.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to let us know. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy, which means that you must cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours before the scheduled time to avoid being charged in full for the session.
Please note that if you cancel or reschedule your coaching appointments frequently, we may need to reevaluate the coaching arrangement as this will inevitably impact on the results you are able to achieve in the coaching process.
